Common questions
How does the cost compare with a packaged product?
The build costs more in year one and less from year two, because there is no licence renewal. We quote a fixed price against a signed specification so you can compare like for like.
Who owns the code?
You do. Source code, database and hosting credentials are handed over at the end of the project.
Can it work alongside our existing ERP or accounting system?
Yes. Where the existing system has an API or supports file exchange we integrate rather than replace. Several of our projects exist purely to connect two systems bought separately.
How long does a first version take?
A focused module is usually six to ten weeks from signed specification. A full LIMS or production system runs longer and is delivered in stages.
